Steel strapping is commonly used for many standard packaging applications!

A cold rolled, low carbon steel strap that is intended for applications requiring moderate strength but not subject to high shock loads. Our standard grade steel strapping features no sharp edges to ensure safe operation and handling. Painted Brown and waxed for ideal performance with strapping tools.

Our standard grade steel strapping is regarded as a premium grade product as it offers good tensile strength and improved ductility over other standard grades of strap. 12 x 0.50 mm offers a break strength of approx. 500 kg 16 x 0.60 mm offers a break Strength of approx. 750 kg 19 x 0.56 mm offers a break strength of approx. 825 kg Tensile Strength: 800 N/mm2 approx. Elongation: 2-3% Available in oscillated coils for volume users (~45kg) and convenient ribbon wound coils (400mm OD). Unlike most standard grade steel strapping Titan strap has deburred edges and perfect paint – also higher tensile strength and better ductility than others.

Ribbon or Rope wound, the strap itself is the same. Ribbon is coiled like a roll of sticky tape – the coil is the width of the strap, Rope/Oscillated is coiled like a hose reel – left to right, back and forth over a width of about 60mm.
